Martijn has spent over two decades in the traditional capital markets industry before launching M11 Funds. He started as a proprietary trader at Delta Lloyd after ending 10 years later at ING managing the proprietary trading activities. After that he joined several hedge funds. During these years he shifted focus from portfolio management to business development activities. Martijn has raised a significant amount of assets and also served as a Board Member for several regulated (alternative) investment funds. He holds a MSc degree in Finance & Financial Markets and is an ESMA accredited institutional investment advisor.

As an Analyst at M11 funds Luke supports with portfolio management and business development activities. Luke holds a Master of Science in International Business, specialized in Sustainable Finance.

As an Investment Analyst at M11, Nik supports investment analysis, portfolio management, and financial analytics across the firm’s liquid strategies. He brings a strong foundation in DeFi and crypto markets, with a particular focus on on-chain analytics and protocol research. His approach combines fundamental and statistical methods, backed by personal trading experience across multiple market cycles. Nik holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Warwick.

Prior to joining M11 Funds as director of global business development, Victor van Eijk led M11 Credit, arranging fixed‑income opportunities for institutional allocators and credit solutions for established firms and DeFi protocols. With over two decades of international capital‑markets experience, including senior roles at Kempen & Co, KBC Securities, NIBC and Degroof Petercam in Amsterdam and New York, he brings a deep network and broad expertise to the team. Victor holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Otto is Manager Finance & Operations, responsible for accounting, fund management, and oversight of operating costs. He holds a Master’s and Post-Master’s degree in Accounting and is a certified accountant.

With over five years of experience at PwC, he combines a strong accounting background with hands-on operational oversight to ensure efficient, well-run processes across the business

As the Chief Executive Officer of the Maven 11 group, Joost brings a wealth of experience to M11 Funds. Within the nascent digital asset industry Joost has a unique combination of 8 years partner and senior management experience, 11 years of senior corporate management experience in the telecom industry (KPN, Tele2, and UPC) and over 5 years of start-up experience (social media & telecom). He holds a MSc degree in Business Administration.

As the Chief Investment Officer of the Maven 11 group, Balder brings deep knowledge of digital assets to M11 Funds. Together with his rich traditional financial markets background he will be of important value to the company. Before joining Maven 11, Balder traded European cash equities for 8 years at boutique investment bank Kempen & Co. He holds a MSc degree in Economics & Finance.

As CFO/COO Arun is responsible for (fund)finance, operations, compliance, Legal, HR and IT (Security). He has a broad financial background, with 14 years in investment banking (ABN AMRO/Kempen & Co). For the last 10 years he has worked in financial roles at Randstad (a.o. Group Control & Strategy, CFO of Sweden) and as CFO of a PE backed family services company. Arun holds a double Masters degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

Jaap has been working with M11 since May 2021. Having been the general counsel of a New York listed digital infrastructure company for more than 20 years, he brings extensive experience in governance, compliance and regulatory matters as well as in building and developing growing companies and organizations. Jaap holds a law degree from Utrecht University.
